This year’s spring conference of the Austrian Society for Haematology and Oncology (ÖGHO) in Bregenz was a resounding success for the Division of Haematology at the Medical University of Graz. Several awards were presented to the department’s dedicated young researchers.
Particularly noteworthy are two Young Investigator Awards, which were presented to Eva Gruden and Akshaya Kailasnathan. In addition, Johannes Fosselteder, Dina Alihodzic and Gina Gerhorst were each awarded a Best Abstract Award in the field of haematology.
Panagiota Chaida achieved further success, receiving a poster prize for her scientific work.
These awards underscore both the excellent scientific quality of the work presented and the importance of Medical Science City Graz as a key location for innovative haematological research.
Congratulations to the award winners!
