The Division of Immunology is looking for a

senior scientist

Core duties and responsibilities:

  • Collaborating on research and research projects
  • Designing and developing research projects, as well as securing funding for research projects in the field of immunology
  • Teaching courses in the Medicine diploma program
  • Taking on organizational and administrative tasks


Successful candidates must have the following qualifications:

  • Diploma/master's degree in the natural sciences or health sciences and a doctoral/PhD degree
  • We are seeking for an established scientist in the filed of immunology, who already attracted third party research funding and successfully directed a competitive research group for the past several years. The applicant must have a documented history of publishing in high ranking journals in the fileld of Immunology.
  • Education and training in higher education didactics
  • Very good English skills (proficiency level C1)


The ideal candidate has the following profile:

  • Interest in improving your academic qualifications (e.g.: Habilitation)
  • A meticulous, precise, and reliable approach to work
  • Team-oriented, strong communication skills

Classification in employment group B1 according to the collective agreement for university employees.
